Holiday Cottage accommodation (Chillingham)

Specialists in romantic getaways for a maximum of only 3 couples, Hillcrest offers a choice of 2 luxury B&B suites in a private guest wing of the main residence or one only fully self-contained Cottage, solar heated pool, massage, wood fire, luxury double spa baths and jolly good food.

Catering for one couple only, Hillcrest Cottage is set in its own secluded garden away from the main house for the ultimate in peace and privacy. With wood burning fire in the lounge, Hillcrest Cottage is ideal for a mid-winter romantic interlude. Split system reverse cycle airconditioning means that summers are a breeze at Hillcrest Cottage as well.

Other facilities include remote control wide screen stereo TV, DVD and stereo system with CD player. Separate from the lounge you'll find a QS Bedroom, huge ensuite bathroom with top of the range, luxury double spa bath and separate oversize shower, heater, hairdryer and selection of toiletries. As well as a fully equipped kitchen with full size gas stove and microwave oven, fridge, toaster and all kitchen equipment; glass sliding doors from the lounge open to your private verandah where you will find a gas BBQ to enjoy the traditional Aussie BBQ. Cottage guests can either choose to fully self cater or have their kitchen stocked with breakfast provisions, including some of Tracy's famous home-made bread and free range eggs.

Another two couples can be catered for in the private B&B guest wing of the main house. Both main house suites have ensuite bathrooms, one with luxury double spa, air-conditioning, in-room tv, dvd and video players as well as double glass sliding doors to a large verandah with table, chairs and a hammock. the guest wing also has a private lounge with beverage facilities, which opens to a charming central atrium with decorative fishpond and resident green tree frogs during the warmer months.

Plan to stay in the beautiful Tweed Valley for more than a day or two and Clive will bring out all his tourist information to help you plan the best things to see and do during your stay.

Main House (2 couples): from $155 to $195 per couple per night including reserve port in the evenings and our full country style breakfast.

Cottage (1 couple only): from $200 to $300 per night. Minimum 2 night stay at all times, 3+ nights for some public holidays and special events.
