Motel & Motor Inn accommodation (Goondiwindi)

The Jolly Swagman Motor Inn in Goondiwindi is set in a quiet location close to the town centre and features modern guest facilities including a licenced restaurant, resort style pool, spa, sauna and half size tennis court. Our fully licenced bar and restaurant, Gibbsy's Restaurant and Bar has an inviting atmosphere and is popular with locals and visitors alike. Dinner at Gibbsy's Restaurant is served in style to a range of guests including corporate travellers and touring holiday makers. We also have available excellent conference facilities for up to 60 people.

We offer quality accommodation to suit all travellers needs, which boasts spacious fully air conditioned ground floor units with undercover parking. All of our rooms have tea and coffee making facilities, toaster, iron and ironing board. Wi-fi broadband internet access is available for a nominal cost or a dial up connection is available via the telephone point in your room.

Our standard rooms have a queen size bed; some with a single bed while our Spa and Deluxe Spa rooms boast split system air conditioners, large two person spa bath, queen size bed and some even come with a microwave oven. Family standard rooms have a queen size bed and either a set of single bunks or a combo bunk comprising a double bunk with a single bunk above.

We also have two bedroom units in each room category. These comprise either a double bed and single bed or three single beds in the main room and a separate bedroom with a queen or double bed. The Jolly Swagman Motor Inn has three disabled rooms, one of which has an adjoining carer's room, to cater for travellers with a disability.

Goondiwindi is a modern and vibrant regional centre while retaining the stylish simplicity of a traditional country town. The town boasts tree lined streets, well kept gardens and the Macintyre River which is one of the town’s greatest assets. The Water Ski Park which opened in 2004 is a popular meeting place on a hot day for both locals and visitors alike.

Take a stroll around town and explore some interesting historic sites or stroll through the natural flora and fauna at the Botanic Gardens and the Western Woodlands. Otherwise discover some of the area's major local industries with a visit to the wheat silos and cotton gins.

Travelling by car, Goondiwindi is four hours west of Brisbane, two hours south of Miles in Queensland and if travelling from NSW, it's one hour from Moree, two hours from Narrabri and five hours from Dubbo. Bus travel is available through booking agents.
