Bed & Breakfast accommodation (Morpeth)

Morpeth Convent Guest House is a large 2 story house situated within walking distance from Morpeth's historic town's centre.

Built in 1909, Morpeth Convent was the home of the Sisters of Mercy until 1980. This unique accommodation experience is nestled in the heart of Morpeth NSW, a town that's steeped in history and is the perfect place to get-away with family, friends or on your own. Walk the grounds, read a book on the veranda, indulge in lavish breakfasts, discover Morpeth's many attractions and visit the vineyards; relax and unwind at Morpeth Convent Guest House.

The bedrooms are located on the top floor of the Convent with views overlooking the charming grounds, the adjacent Church and Morpeth itself. The rooms are accessed by a two-flight stairway that maintains its original carvings. The Guest House offers 2 queen rooms and a twin room.

The sitting room has a small library and lush furniture to curl-up with your favourite book or you can choose from the DVD library to view a blockbuster in the television room, where cable TV is also available.

Breakfast is served in the breakfast room with views of the garden. Laundry facilities are available on request.
A unique feature of the Convent is the Chapel with it's stained glass windows, which is available to our guests for small functions or weddings.
