The Beachcomber Motel units all have absolute Coral Sea views to Hinchinbrook and Goold Islands. Beachcomber Bar & Grill is open 7 days for your enjoyment. All units have queen beds. We have full room service, direct dial phones, email and fax service, air conditioning and remote TVs and Austar is available. There is a saltwater tropical pool and ample parking for boats & buses.

We also have 6 acres of powered and unpowered grassy camping sites, cabins, ensuite villas, a modern amenities block, BBQ and camp kitchen.

Overlooking Hinchinbrook and Goold Islands, a spectacular 2 hour drive from Cairns or Townsville along Highway 1, the "Great Green Way".

Cardwell is renowned for its great fishing, crabbing, prawning and natural attractions. Cardwell is also situated adjacent to two World Heritage areas - the Great Barrier Reef to the east and the Wet Tropics Rainforest to the west.

To See and Do - Hinchinbrook Island Cruises, world famous Thorsborne Trail Reef and Barrumundi Fishing, National Park Walks and Waterfalls, Scenic Flights, White Water Rafting, Golf, Hire Boats, Dugong and Turtle Watching.
