Self-Contained Unit accommodation (Johanna)

PLEASE NOTE BEFORE BOOKING: ALL ACCOMMODATION CAN ONLY ACCOMMODATE 1 COUPLE EACH. The property can accommodate 4 couples (8adult) in total, all in separate suites/cottages. All accommodation is 1 bedroom.

Blue Johanna Cottages are just off the Great Ocean Road, 6kms south of Lavers Hill, at Johanna Heights. The property has 2 self-contained Cottages and 2 In-house suites that can accommodate 1 couple each, nestled amongst 12 acres of sheer paradise. Rolling hills, deep ferny gullies, beautiful cottage gardens & lawns, all overlook the Johanna Hills and often rough and wild Southern Ocean.

Cove and Fern Cottages are from the pages of a fairytale and are designed for couples. They are very cosy and romantic,with each cottage featuring polished timber & Cathedral ceiling, Attic Windows, Wood Fire, Large Corner Spa, Queen bed, Air Conditioning and breathtaking views across our gardens, the Johanna Hills and across the ocean towards Cape Otway.

Each cottage has kitchen facilities including a microwave, electric frypan & cooking equipment, there is a TV, Austar, DVD, Video and Stereo. Due to the Otway Ranges we don’t have normal television reception, however we have Austar on Satellite as well as a large selection of videos at reception that may be borrowed free of charge. All linen, soft fluffy towels, homemade aromatherapy soaps, spa gels, fresh flowers, candles, a selection of Twinings Teas, Instant & Plunger Coffee and a continental breakfast basket on the first morning are included.

The cottages are duplex style, yet due to their unique design one cannot be seen from the other. Cove Cottage is to the left of the building and is open-plan, studio style living offering lots of natural light. Fern Cottage is to the right with an Attic bedroom offering views over a ferny gully & ocean. A wide deck runs along the front and side of each cottage with outdoor furniture & BBQ and leads to a paved courtyard.

Our In-house suites are also designed for couples and are different from most B&Bs due to there being no shared facilities between them. Each suite has its own entry from a guests verandah, featuring a Queen sized bed, linen & towels, TV (no reception only videos), VCR, Stereo, Couch, Breakfast making facilities including a small fridge & Microwave, Twinings Teas, Instant & Plunger Coffee, Fresh Flowers and Candles. A continental breakfast basket is supplied for each morning to In-house guests.

The Standard Suite is open plan with beautiful views across our gardens and over the ocean, while our Spa Suite features a separate dining/breakfast area, large bedroom and ensuite with large corner Spa.

Well bahaved pets are very welcome to bring their owners for a holiday.
