Mutton Falls is situated in the picturesque Tarana Valley, one hour's drive from Katoomba in the Blue Mountains. The family homestead was built in 1840 on the banks of the Fish River. It has a colourful colonial history, there were several attempts of armed robbery by notorious bushrangers during the years between 1862 and 1867. Many years of sensitive restoration of the home and gardens have added to it's original charm and beauty. The ideal retreat for you or a group of your favorite people. A place to relax, and be pampered by your host Dennis Danna. Enjoy the peace and quiet in a rural setting, the sounds of the bush and watch the river flow gently by. Mutton Falls has been featured in Country Style, Country Looks, 25 Beautiful Homes and the Sydney Morning Herald.

Four charming Georgian bedrooms offer accommation for eight guest. All bedrooms overlook the Fish River with Evans Crown nature reserve as a backdrop. The guest sitting room with it's huge open fireplace, made for relaxation, curling up by the fire with a good book and that glass of wine [BYO]. The guest dinning room can seat up to twenty for those special functions. The beautifully manicured gardens of Mutton Falls with it's lush green lawns, high hedges and tall trees is perfect for a game of bocce, or simply enjoy the serenity and the native bird life.

Traditional country cooking with an edge. Breakfast of Fresh Juice, West Indian Eggs and Sweet Chili Bacon, warm toast, jams, coffee and tea's. Lunch menu to suit the occasion. Dinner, Warm Figs White Castello Sauce and crisp Prosciutto. Slow Roasted Rib Roast on a bed of Oven Potatoes and Garlic Cream Sauce with parsley and mustard salsa, seasonal vegetables. Then to finish Chocolate Hazelnut Torte and Jaffa Sauce. Time for coffee and chocolate by the fire.

Mutton Falls offers a beautiful and romantic Wedding Experience far beyond the imagination. For your ceremony the 'Wedding Pavilion' situated in the gardens. For the reception the fully restored 'Dairy ' decorated with drapes and floral arrangements offers the charm and rustic elegance of a country wedding, while providing you and your guest a stunning venue.
