Holiday Cottage accommodation (Maldon)

Ocstone Villa is a fascinating octagonal stone construction which incorporates the use of recycled materials with lots of quirky touches. Look for the hand carved window sills, a, built in ladder in the chimney, an intriguing basement and the magpie guarding the stairwell!

Whilst the house can sleep up to 9 people over three levels the octagonal layout and open fire makes the house intimate and snug when there are only 2.

Ocstone offers both a rural experience but within easy access to the quaint township, good food and wine and arts shopping of Maldon. Sitting on the porch gazing to the horizons or at the stars is blissful - both in summer when it is cool and winter when it is protected.

Children are welcome and there are some indoor and outdoor games which guests are free to use. Children and adults alike may also like to try their luck yabbying in the dam (delicious later cooked up on the BBQ) or bring your bikes and cycle into town
